Assistant Dance Teacher - Theory Course

The assistant dance teacher program is for those dancers who are considering a career as a dance educator. The IDTS assistant teacher course will introduce dancers to basic concepts of classroom management, behaviour intervention, lesson planning, introductory anatomy and outline etiquette and expectations. Students will design and practice leading warm-up/stretch and cooldown and will leave this program with tools to aid their dance teacher more successfully.
